After years of political struggle the Liberals finally managed to pass back into law the Australian Building and Construction Commission, and with it, their Building Code.

The ABCC has even more power than the police. It can drag workers before secret tribunals, strip them of their right to silence and deny them the right to choose a lawyer. If you refuse to attend a tribunal, you can be jailed for up to six months. Under this law, ice dealers will have even more rights than construction workers.
